Swearing-in Ceremony Announced

LOCK HAVEN – Clinton County President Judge Craig P. Miller has announced that a swearing-in ceremony for all newly elected and re-elected officials will be held on Friday, December 29 at 10 a.m. in the large Courtroom of the Clinton County Courthouse.

Any individual elected or re-elected to any office in Clinton County, including any city, borough or township position, is invited to attend and be sworn in by President Judge Miller.

Judge Miller, who also stood before the voters this past November in his successful bid for retention, will be sworn-in by Senior Judge Carson V. Brown. Judge Brown served as Clinton County’s President Judge from 1974 to 1994 and conducted Judge Miller’s original swearing-in in 2008.

Any interested officials are asked to contact Leah Mothersbaugh, Acting Director of Voter Registration and Elections, at 570-893-4019 to inform her of their desire to participate.

A court system spokesman said the public is also encouraged to attend and wish their elected officials a successful term in office.
