Section of I-80 Eastbound Restricted in Clinton County

LOCK HAVEN – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) is alerting motorists that a section of I-80 eastbound in Clinton County is restricted to one lane, with considerable backlog and delays.

Earlier Tuesday morning, a multiple vehicle crash had closed the roadway from the Lock Haven/178 exit to the 212B/Williamsport exit. That closure has been upgraded to a lane restriction but considerable traffic back-up remains and delays are lengthy.

PennDOT expects this restriction to last well into the morning. Message boards along I-80 are alerting drivers to the restriction and delays. Drivers may wish to avoid the area by choosing alternate routes.
