CM Tennis Dominate Danville 4-1

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Central Mountain has picked up yet another win, this time dominating Danville 4-1 to set their record at 13-2 overall and 12-1 in the PHAC.

The McCluskey sisters set the pace for the Lady Wildcats with Jolee McCluskey defeating Danville’s Emma Lehr, 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles while Kendall McCluskey took care of Peri Hassanzedeh, 7-5, 6-4 at No. 2. Katherine Strouse followed in kind with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Iron Lady, Paige Kupas at No. 3 singles.

In no. 1 doubles action, CM’s Natalie Brown and Jess Piergallini took care of Danville’s Paige Holcombe and Noelle Stamm, 6-0, 6-2. Then at No. 2 doubles, Danville’s Millie Elangbam and Emily Salerno-Oswald rebounded to topple Caitlyn Dale and Gianna Renzo, 5-7, 6-2, 6-4.

Central Mountain will seek their fourth win of the week tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017 when they host District 6 rival, Hollidaysburg.
