Lady Wildcat Tennis Take Selinsgrove 3-2

SELINSGROVE – The Lady Wildcats continue their roll through the Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference with a 3-2 win over the Lady Seals on Tuesday.

Central Mountain is atop the conference at 12-2 overall, 12-1 in the PHAC.

The Lady ‘Cats Jolee McCluskey defeated Selinsgrove’s Daisey Ettinger, 6-3, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, then at No. singles, Kendall McCluskey rebounded against Lady Seal, Paige Smith, 3-6, 6-4, 6-1. CM’s Katherine Strouse picked up the third singles win at No. 3 over Selinsgroves, Ashlynn Peachey, 6-0, 6-1.

Selinsgrove battled back picking up both doubles matches with Brooke Longacre and Meredith Lemons took down Lady Wildcats Natalie Brown and Jess Piergallini, 6-4, 6-3. Lady Seals, Madison Newell Kiana Brubaker picked a win over CM’s Caitlyn Dale and Gianna Renzo, 6-4, 6-1 at No. doubles.

Central Mountain will be on the road to Danville, tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017.
