Lady ‘Cats Drop ‘Shore 4-1

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Lady Wildcats picked up their second PHAC win in as many days, dropping Jersey Shore 4-1. The moves Central Mountain to 8-2 overall and 8-1 in the PHAC.

The Lady Wildcats swept the singles action with Jolee McCluskey defeating ‘Shore’s Sophie Hayes, 6-0, 6-0 at No.1. Then CM’s No. 2, Kendall McCluskey battled back to win over Cassidy Reil, 7-5, 4-6, 6-4. Katherine Strouse picked up another win at No. 3, taking care of Jersey Shore’s Madison Delaney, 6-1, 6-4.

CM’s Natalie Brown and Jess Piergallini picked up a 6-4, 7-5 win at No. 1 doubles over Lady Bulldogs Natalie Charnego and Cora Bailey-Getz, 6-4, 7-5. Then at No. 2 doubles, Jersey Shore bounded back with Krista Eck and Miranda Schneider defeated Central Mountain’s Caitlyn Dale and Gianna Renzo, 6-2, 6-2.
