Central Mountain X-Country Go 1-3 at Shamokin

SHAMOKIN – In a quadrangle meet with Shamokin, Loyalsock, Southern Columbia and Milton, Central Mountain picked up one win each for the boys’ and girls’ squads.

The Lady Wildcats (4-3) edged Milton 25-30 while falling to Shamokin 29-26, Southern Columbia 30-26 and Loyalsock 33-25.

Christina Lugg was the top finisher for CM placing third overall with a time of 22:06.

The Wildcats (2-5) picked up their win over Milton, 18-41 and fell to Shamokin 29-26, Southern Columbia 30-26, Loyalsock 33-25.

Central Mountain’s Corbin Green placed 14th overall in 19:06.

The Wildcats will next see action when they host Dubois and Hollidaysburg, Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017 for Senior Day and the annual “Pink-Out” meet.
