LHU Football Treks Northwest to Edinboro

lhu-footballLOCK HAVEN – On Saturday the Lock Haven University football team will head to Edinboro University for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossover game. Kickoff on Saturday at Edinboro’s Sox Harrison Stadium is set for 12 p.m.

The Bald Eagles enter the game looking for their first win of the 2017 season. In Week 1, Lock Haven fell to NCAA Division I (FCS) Saint Francis 69-3. LHU is looking to build off a 2016 season that saw the Bald Eagles finish 4-7 overall.
Edinboro is 1-0 after downing Lake Erie College, 30-3 during Week 1 action last weekend.

Haven hits:

  • After making a spot start in 2016 vs. Cheyney, R-Jr. QB Cameron Tobias officially took over the starting duties during Week 1 at Saint Francis. He has two career passing TDs, throwing for one touchdown in each of the previous two seasons.
  • Returning All-PSAC FS Isaiah Flamer made a game-high 16 tackles last weekend at Saint Francis.
  • All-American Trent Fielding has made 33 career starts, which is tied for the third-most among all active PSAC players.
  • 2015 All-PSAC DB Daniel Strawbridge started last week. The First Team selection in 2015 (82 tackles) missed last season, but returned in Week 1 on this season to anchor the secondary.
