LOCK HAVEN – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is close to completion on a bridge replacement near Lock Haven. The bridge spans Reeds Run on Mill Hill Road near the Clinton County SPCA in Woodward Township. Replacement work has required closing the bridge, with a short detour in effect. Replacement will allow PennDOT to remove the bridge from Clinton County’s structurally deficient list.
Early this week featured paving on Mill Hill Road, next up will be the installation of guardrails on the bridge.
In the meantime, the official detour is expected to remain in place through Friday, but will be lifted before August 11 if work progress allows.
