LOCK HAVEN – Join the Lock Haven University department of Geology and Physics to experience the 2017 Solar Eclipse on Monday, August 21st.

WHAT: Experience the Solar Eclipse at Lock Haven University

WHEN: Monday, August 21st 2017; 1:15 p.m-4:00 p.m. (maximum eclipse at 2:38 p.m.)

WHERE: Lock Haven University Commons Lawn (between Price Auditorium and Stevenson Library)

The viewing will be held on the University Commons Lawn (between Price Auditorium and Stevenson Library). The eclipse begins at 1:15 p.m. with the maximum at 2:38 p.m. and the last contact at 3:56 p.m.
Free solar eclipse glasses will be provided for safe viewing. Lock Haven observers will see a 75% partial solar eclipse. Join millions across the country in witnessing this exciting event.
