Lock Haven Police Probe Death of Child

LOCK HAVEN — City police are investigating the death of an infant child reported in the 400 block of E. Church St.

Lock Haven police, Lock Haven University police and state police responded to the Memorial Day morning call at a rear unit of an apartment building across from Robb School. Little information was immediately available.

City detective Kristin Smith told therecord-online a “deceased child” case is being investigated and additional information will be released later. The office of Clinton County Coroner Zach Hanna was notified. He confirmed the death as a 2-year-old boy and said an autopsy will be conducted as the investigation continues.
