Four Area Youth Wrestlers Compete at States

Dalton-PerryHARRISBURG – Four area youth wrestlers got their chance to show their skills at the Pennsylvania State Youth Wrestling Championships recently in Harrisburg. All four boys wrestle for Central Mountain and also with the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club. Dalton Perry of Renovo who wrestles in the 55 pound 8-year-old and under bracket placed second in his division. Gage Sutliff of Renovo placed seventh in the 150 pound 9-and-10 year division. Gino Serafini and Braylon Corter of Lock Haven fought a great battle, each advancing but not placing. Serafini wrestled at 65 pounds in the 9-and-10 year division and Corter in the 65 pound 8-and-under division. Both Serafini and Corter went 2-and-2. Perry and Sutliff were regional champions and both Serafini and Corter finished second at regionals in their divisions. Photos Provided
