RENOVO – Fred L. Risley, Jr., 62, of North Bend, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Bucktail Medical Center.

Born October 22, 1954 in Williamsport, Fred was the son of the late Fredrick L. Sr. and Anna M. (Blair) Risley. He served his country in the U.S Navy for four years as a Boiler Technician/Fire Fighter.

Fred was a long time volunteer firefighter at the Renovo Fire Department and an avid softball player.

Surviving are five sons, Paul Risley, Fred Risley III, Brock Zeigler, Trent Risley, and Ryan Prebble; four daughters, Michelle (Zuback) Keahey, Tracy Shady, Crystal (Summerson) Beatty, and Jaime Risley; numerous grandchildren; one great grandson; four brothers, Jimmy Risley and wife, Joan of Renovo, Robbie Risley and wife, Paula of Birdsboro, and Todd Risley and wife, Kelley of Renovo; two sisters, Darlene Guerriero and husband, Larry of Pittsburgh, and Beth Donovan and husband, Ken of Etters, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Fred is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carson and Roberta (Blair) Laudenslayer; and paternal grandparents, Clarence and Iva-Mae Risley.

A memorial service was held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Renovo Fire Department, 230 11th St., in Renovo with Martha Sykes officiating the service. A visitation was held for friends and family from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Renovo Fire Department, 230 11th St., in Renovo. Burial will be at the North Bend Cemetery
