Wildcats Rebound Late to Knock off Huntingdon 82-72

cm-basketballHUNTINGDON – Fueled by a strong second half performance, Central Mountain overcame a 42-29 halftime deficit to earn a 82-72 victory over the Bearcats.

Huntingdon outpaced the Wildcats in the early going but CM dug a little deeper later in the contes to turn the table on the host with 5 players hitting double figures for Central Mountain.

Matt Storemnan led the case with 18 points Brody Baker followed with 14 while Wyatt Bumbarger hit for 14 more. Kyle Everhart and Justin Neff added a dozen each on the night with 5 more coming from Nick Carpenetti and another 4 points from Trevor Hanna and 2 more from Colin Jones to round out the scoring.

The win moves Central Mountain to 15-6 on the season and have one remaining regular season contest when they host Altoona on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
