Jersey Shore Convenience Store Hit by Armed Robber

JERSEY SHORE — The Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police are asking for public assistance as they probe an early Saturday morning armed robbery at the Uni-Mart at 101 Bridge Street in Jersey Shore.

The Jersey Shore-based police department posted this statement on social media Saturday:

“On 1/28/2017 at approximately 01:22 am a white male entered the Uni-Mart, displayed a handgun, and ordered the store clerk to hand over the money. The suspect was wearing a black ski mask, jacket with light colored sleeves, blue jeans, black shoes and had a large revolver style firearm. After securing an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerk the suspect took off on foot.
