Leadership Clinton County Meets the Media

LOCK HAVEN – Leadership Clinton County Participants explored the relationship between media and public opinion and learned the tools necessary to improve communication between both.

Local media representatives held a panel discussion on how businesses and organizations can work with the media to positively affect a community. Panelists included representatives from The Express, The Record, 92.1 WSQV/WBPZ, 99.9 WQBR and Julie Brennan with the Clinton County Economic Partnership.

Michael Ferlazzo, Public Relations Specialist with Geisinger, shared information on Public Relations that gave the participants ideas on how deal with media and the public. Doug Spatafore, Director of Sports Information and Marketing at Lock Haven University spoke to the class on using Social Media as a tool to help promote their business/organization.
