Linda K. Bickford, 69, of W. Cardinal Dr., Lock Haven, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Gatehouse Hospice, Williamsport.

She was born in Lock Haven on June 12, 1947, the daughter of the late Francis and Stella Margaret Kliber Lininger.

Linda was a 1965 graduate of Lock Haven High School. She attended Wright State University in Ohio as well as Williamsport Area Community College.

On April 6, 1968 at Great Island Presbyterian Church in Lock Haven, she married Roger W. Bickford who passed away on August 9, 2014. They lived in Mountain Home, Idaho where Roger was stationed with the US Air Force before returning to Lock Haven for the remainder of their lives.

Linda began her career at the Clinton County Courthouse in 1969 and served as Chief Clerk from 1985 until her retirement in 2002. She also served as Treasurer for Highland Cemetery of Lock Haven for many years.

Linda loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, Taylor and Cameron. In her younger years, she enjoyed spending time with Roger riding motorcycles & enjoying their camp with friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary S. (Thomas) Casilio of Dunnstown; a brother, Harold (Betty) Lininger of Ohio; three sisters, Frances Bauman of Lock Haven, Miriam Brown of McElhattan and Jeanne Rinker of Lock Haven; and her two grandchildren, Taylor and Cameron Casilio.

In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Lininger.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 2p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745 with Rev. Dr. William Knudsen officiating.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until the time of the service.

Burial at Highland Cemetery will take place privately at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or Gatehouse Hospice.
