cm-soccerBALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – It was another tough outing for the Lady Wildcat soccer program as they fell to visiting Selinsgrove 5-0 in Heartland Conference Action Wednesday night at Malinak Stadium.

It only took the Lady Seals 27 sec. into the game to find the back of the net for their first score, but that would be the only score by both teams for the first period.

In the second period, Selinsgrove stepped up their offense and found success on four more occasions to secure the one-sided shutout victory.

The Lady Seals also had a distinct advantage in the other stats for the game, holding a 23-5 advantage in shots on goal and 7-3 in corner kicks.

CM keeper, Chelsey Chaplain was under fire most of the game and recorded 15 saves or the margin of victory would have been much more for Selinsgrove.

Sadie McCaleb, Karissa Lucas, Tara Reese and Sloane Tressler all had shots for the Lady ‘Cats.

Central Mountain will nest host Mifflinburg on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016.
