1 2 3 4 FINAL
ALTOONA 19 12 7 14  52
CENTRAL MOUNTAIN 9 12 11 10  42

Tyler Everhart and Alex Garbrick led the offensive effort for the Wildcats with each contributing 11 points on the night. Wesley Jolly scored nine points for CM with Travis Turchetta adding six. Tanner Meeker and Nicholas Moore each added two while Luke Stevenson scored one point for the ‘Cats.

Central Mountain came out of the starting gates falling behind ten points to Altoona by the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter the Wildcats found their offensive stride and matched the Mountain Lions point-for-point. In the third, the Wildcats stepped up the pressure outscoring Altoona 11-7. The margin could have been greater, though, CM failed to convert on several opportunities late in the quarter.

In the final stanza, Altoona was able to preserve their earlier margin outlasting the Wildcats in the closing minutes.

Even though the scoreboard may have indicated the Wildcats were not up to the task, their play on the court would prove that wrong. There was no quit and no panic to be found. The ‘Cats simply continued to play hard, proving they belonged in the game.
