Lady ‘Cats Tennis Rolls Over Danville 5-0

DANVILLE – Continuing their strong momentum, the Lady Wildcat tennis team kept their machine rolling with yet another seep defeating Danville 5-0 in Heartland Conference action.

Central Mountain (6-0) was unyielding in singles competition vs. the Lady Ironmen defeating the hosts in straight sets.

Once again, CM’s Jolee McCluskey led the way besting Danville’s Emma Lehr 6-0, 6-0. Lady Wildcats, Quinn McCluskey dominated Paige Kupas 6-0, 6-0 followed by Katherine Strouse defeating Alyssa Madison 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles action, Danville tried to muster up can answer to the Lady ‘Cats to no avail. CM’s Keli Kwiatek and Kendall McCluskey took care of Danville’s Nina Shoemaker and Peri Hassanzadeh 6-4, 6-1. Becky Piergallini and Natalie Brown rounded out the effort taking down Meg Lyan and Gracie Crone of Danville 6-2, 6-0

Next up, the Lady Wildcats will host Lewisburg on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 at 4 p.m.
