Renovo Woman Charged with SPCA Theft

WOODWARD TOWNSHIP — A Renovo woman is free on bail after her arrest by Woodward Township police on theft-related charges.

Township police allege that Kelly Ann Casper, 47, of 152 Pennsylvania Ave. stole better than $30,000 from the Clinton County SPCA during her time of employment at the animal shelter between 2011 and this year.

Township police had posted a picture and a warrant notice on social media, seeking Casper; they reported Tuesday she had turned herself in.

Charges include theft, access device fraud, theft by deception and receiving stolen property. She was arraigned and released on $2,500 bail.

The police report accused Casper of using SPCA credit cards and misappropriation of SPCA funds for her own benefit.
