Community Turns Out to Support Keystone Major All-Stars
MILL HALL – It was a festive, fun and beneficial night at the Mill Hall Little League field as the Keystone Major All-Stars held their last public practice before departing for Bristol, CT for the Mid-Atlantic Regional tournament.
The activity was also a fun raising project to help offset the cost the families will incur to attend the tournament and also a great opportunity to purchase some official Keystone attire to support the local league. Many local businesses, civic groups and individuals have come forward to support the team.
Parents, families and other volunteers were on hand offering refreshments, t-shirts and other fund-raising activities to those in attendance.
One of the highlights of the evening was special visit of the 2011 Keystone/Mid-Atlantic team who shared their experiences with the current team as they prepare to take the next step in the quest to make it to the LLWS in Williamsport later this month.
