CM Boys Tennis Off and Running

cm-tennisBALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP — Veteran Central Mountain boys tennis coach Pete Wert is working with a squad of 16 this spring and with the relatively mild March weather the Wildcats have already played five contests, losing their first two but bouncing back with three wins last week.

Central Mountain returns three letter-winners in Kline Williams at number one, Micah Brinker at number two and Mitch Wheary at three. Wert said he hopes the team will improve on last season’s 7-9 and can hold its own in its second year in the Heartland Conference.

The Wildcats are to travel to Jersey Shore this Monday, host Milton on Wednesday and Mifflin County on Thursday.
