Kiwanis of BENV Kash Bash

MILL HALL – The Kiwanis Club of Bald Eagle and Nittany Valleys held a highly successful Kash Bash fundraising event on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Haywood’s on the Green in Mill Hall. The event was attended by over 200 people and featured cash giveaways every 15 minutes during the evening, small games of chance, rip off tickets, and additional raffles. Over $5,000 was distributed to lucky ticket winners during the course of the evening. Additional raffle prizes included several gift baskets, a kayak, and a two night stay at the Seven Springs resort courtesy of the Lock Haven Express. Additional cash prizes were also paid to ripoff ticket and 50/50 raffle winners. Net proceeds were over $3,600 and will be used to support local youth organizations and community service events such as an annual Easter egg hunt at Long Run Park, and a summer Kids Day and winter Santa’s Workshop at the Mill Hall Volunteer Fire Company hall. The raffle of two “mystery baskets” netted almost $500 to be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network. Kiwanis of BENV would like to thank all who attended the event and all the local businesses who contributed items for our raffle prizes.
