I-80 Work Resumes Next Week in Clinton County

penndot-alertLOCK HAVEN – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) advises motorists that work along Interstate 80 in Clinton County is expected to resume on Monday, April 4. Crews will be working from mile-marker 184 at Loganton to mile-marker 170 at the Centre County line. Improvement work will also take place from mile-marker 193 to mile-marker 194 at the Union County line. PennDOT said the improvements will enhance the integrity of the bituminous pavement.

In 2015, crews performed tree-clearing work east and westbound, along with roadway surface improvements on the Lamar/173 and Lock Haven/178 on and off ramps. Work this year will focus on improvements to the I-80 mainline.

Initial work on the mainline will close the right/travel lanes as crews perform milling and paving on the section between Loganton and the Centre County line. Crews will also perform concrete patching, shoulder repair, and overlay near the Union County line.
