LHU Men’s Basketball set for PSAC Tournament

lhu-hoopsLOCK HAVEN – The Lock Haven University men’s basketball team is set to make its third straight Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament appearance.

LHU, the PSAC East’s No. 6 seed will travel to No. 3 seed East Stroudsburg on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.

Saturday’s First Round game will mark Lock Haven’s third straight PSAC Tournament appearance, something the Bald Eagles haven’t done since the 1987-88, 1988-89 and 1989-90 seasons. This will mark LHU’s 11th all-time PSAC playoff appearance.

The Bald Eagles finished the regular season at 12-14 overall and were 8-14 in PSAC play.

The Bald Eagles are winners of two of their last five games and will look to regain the form that saw them start the season at 8-2.

Brahieme Jackson is LHU’s leader and he averages 11 points per game to go along with 6.8 rebounds per game.

Ra’eese Hunt has dominated the second half of the season and adds 9.8 points per game.

ESU is 20-6 overall and finished PSAC play at 16-6 during the regular season.
