Renovo Fixer-Upper Available Now

RENOVO – The Clinton County Commissioners have placed the old Renovo District Court office on the auction block. Dating to 1971, the building has been deemed too expensive to upgrade, the building recently replaced by a newly renovated court office on Ninth Street. The county will accept sealed bids for the old Third Street building through 5 p.m. Oct. 31, the bids to be opened at the Garden Building at the commissioners’ Nov. 3 work session at 9 a.m. According to a legal notice in the B section of this week’s print Record, the commissioners say bids must exceed the fair market value of the property which they placed at between $15,000 and $17,000.
