Lady Wildcats Lose 3-0 to Hollidaysburg

cm-volleyballBALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Central Mountain hosted District 6 foe, Hollidaysburg in girls’ volleyball Monday evening losing in straight games 3-0.

The visiting Lady Golden Tigers use a polished effort minimizing unforced errors, picking up opportunistic aces from service and nailed several well-timed kills as they earned the one-sided victory.

The Lady ‘Cats fought valiantly on the night but were unable to establish a rhythm that could stem the tide.

In the first game, Hollidaysburg jumped out to an early lead and never looked back posting a 25-7 win.

Early in the second game, Central Mountain was holding their own at 4-5 but soon fell behind losing the match 25-12.

In the final match of the night, the Lady Golden Tigers doubled up once agin on Central Mountain finishing the contest with a 25-12 final score.

Next up for CM is a road trip to Bellefonte on Wednesday, Sept. 17 and will host Shamokin on Thursday, Sept. 18.
