Douglas A. Berkheimer – Obituary

Douglas A. Berkheimer, 48, of Renovo has went to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept., 8, 2014 at Bucktail Medical Center, South Renovo.

He was born December 10, 1965 in York a son of Glenn and Joyce (Boyer) Berkheimer.

Douglas was also known as “gitter done Doug”. Doug leaves us with many memories of his big smile, hearty laugh and being there for those in their time of need. His many family members and friends in Pennsylvania, Florida and Tennesee will miss him.

He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

Doug worked in the construction field and was self-employed.

His loving companion Tammey Brennan will always cherish his love, commitment, loyalty and for his love of life.

Surviving are his father of Cross Fork and one son Eric Berkheimer of Roan Mountain, TN also brother Troy W. Berkheimer of Cross Fork.

His loving companion Tammey Brennan of Renovo survives Doug.

Several aunts, uncles, cousins and one niece also survive.

His mother and a brother Steven preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be announced at the convenience of the family.

Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo has charge of arrangements.
