Daniel Ardner – Obituary

Daniel Hayes Ardner, 58, formerly of 213 West Bald Eagle Street, Lock Haven, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 at Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit.

Born on October 7, 1955 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Robert Ardner and Mary Conser McLean who survives in Lock Haven.

After graduating from Conrad Weiser High School, Daniel served in the United States Army for six years.

By trade he was a painter.

Daniel loved fishing and camping.

In addition to his Mother, Mary, he is survived by two sons: Daniel Ardner, Jr. and Josh Ardner, both of Lock Haven; a daughter, Jessica Ardner of Lock Haven; five siblings: Craig (Dottie) Colocino of Lock Haven; Richard (Paula) Ardner of Salona; Douglas Ardner of Lock Haven; Kelly McLean-Heaton of Lititz; and Forrest James McLean of Lock Haven; and numerous grandchildren.

Along with his Father, Daniel was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Colocino.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 8 p.m.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc. to assist with funeral expenses.
