James L. Calhoun – Obituary

James L. Calhoun, 85, formerly of Lock Haven, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Susque View Home, Lock Haven.

Born on December 24, 1928 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Winifred and Rosie Burd Calhoun.

James served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was employed by Cirro Metal, Bellefonte.

James was a member of the Lock Haven VFW.

Surviving are three sons: Douglas P. Calhoun of Mill Hall, Robert G. Calhoun of Woolrich, and Troy Merrill of Jersey Shore; a daughter, Trudy L. Calhoun of Lock Haven; two sisters: Lillian Mark of Castanea and Gwen Bower of Lancaster; seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
