Anna G. Durandetto – Obituary

ObitArtLOCK HAVEN – Anna G. Durandetto, 93, formerly of Renovo, died May 6, 2014 at the Haven Rehab. and Nursing Center, Lock Haven, PA. She was born Feb. 24, 1921 in Madera, PA, a daughter of the late William and Theresa Mosley Raab. She was married to Harold L. Durandetto who died in June, 2000.

Anna was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, North Bend, PA. A homemaker, Anna had also been a part-time cook, had done housework for others and had worked at Susque-View Nursing Home in Lock Haven.

Surviving are two daughters: Carol Ann McLarney, Pickerington, OH and Bonnie Jean Whitesel, Virginia Beach, VA, two brothers: William “Wimp” (Mae) Raab, Jr. and Robert “Bob or Mo” (Betty) Raab both of Madera, PA. Also surviving are a sister: Phyllis Helsel, N. Appolo, PA, four grandchildren: Adam (Kerrie) McLarney; Heather (Chris Kosa) McLarney; Ryan (Shelley) McLarney and Jennifer Whitesel (Alan) Tirol, one great grandchild: Kellan J. McLarney and 1 step great grandchild: Avery Gallagan. Anna waa preceded in death by three brothers: Merle (Punch), Eugene (Tubby) and Jack Raab as well as four sisters: Eleanor, Evelyn, June and Mary.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the Grace Baptist Church, North Bend, PA with Rev. Mahlon Nevel officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services in the church. Interment will be in North Bend Cemetery.
