‘Tour of PA Amusement Parks’ offered as Fundraiser

RENOVO – Shown above, are Kristy Serafini Brooks, Tracy Shady, Stephanie Brooks, Terrie Hough, and Glen “Glenie B” Brooks. In their hands is a certificate entitled a “Tour of PA Amusement Parks” that was donated by Magnum Broadcasting / Intrepid Broadcasting, Inc. to be used in the Renovo Town Clock fundraising effort. Some lucky family will win this certificate to six popular PA amusement parks in a drawing at Heritage Park during the community-wide yard sales May 28, 2017. The amusement parks are: Kennywood, Sandcastle, Waldemeer, Idlewild, Pittsburgh Zoo, and Delgrosso.

Shortly after the Renovo Town Clock Campaign was announced, this team of friends organized a two-part fundraising project to support the campaign. Their goal was to raise $1,000. They held a dance at the Green Lantern that netted over $800. The second part of the project, the Tour of PA Amusement Parks raffle, was planned to boost the total effort to reach their goal of $1,000 and complete the project.
