Detour Change for I-80 Westbound Closure near DuBois

penndot-alertCLEARFIELD – A multiple vehicle crash has I-80 westbound closed at mile-marker 104 near DuBois, with a detour change now in effect. The detour starts from the Penfield/111 interchange and follows Route 153 and Route 322 West, with traffic reentering I-80 westbound at either the 101/DuBois interchange or the 97/DuBois/Falls Creek interchange.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) is alerting motorists that a section of I-80 westbound near DuBois in Clearfield County is closed and is expected to remain closed into the evening hours.

PennDOT cautions drivers to be alert for slowed or stopped traffic along I-80 and along the detour route which uses Route 153 and Route 322.

Message boards along I-80 are alerting drivers to the closure and detour. Drivers can also use the Highway Advisory Radio System for updates by tuning to 1640 on the AM dial.
