AVIS – The Pine Creek Township Police Department announced it is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday evening at a convenience store in Avis Borough.

Pantry Convenience Store, located at 101 E. Central Ave., Avis, was robbed about 9 p.m., police said.

Police did not disclose what weapons were used in the robbery, or a description of the suspect.

Further details about the robbery and the investigation will be announced as they become available.
