Kathryn A. Baldwin, 73, of 1197 Coudersport Pike, Lock Haven, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Born on January 22, 1943 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret Simcox Watkins.

She was a graduate of Lock Haven High School.

Kathryn celebrated 42 years of marriage with her husband, Floyd Baldwin, who survives.

Over the years, she cooked at various restaurants throughout the area.

Kathryn attended the Salvation Army Church, Lock Haven.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, both of Lock Haven.

Kathryn enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and crafting.  She also loved to bake and was known for her coleslaw.

Most of all, Kathryn cherished her family and friends.  She was a wonderful mother, loving grandmother, and had the home where all of the neighborhood children could be found visiting.

In addition to her husband, Floyd, she is survived by five children: Irvin (Anna) Bowmaster, Jr. of Castanea, Floyd Bowmaster, Sr. of Dunnstown, Kim (Joseph) Tarantella of Mill Hall, Deb (Karl) Wheeler of Castanea, and Boyd (Billie) Bowmaster of Castanea; four siblings: Bob, Raymond, Chuck, and Nancy Watkins; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great, great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Taco.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings and three grandchildren: Nathan, Irvin, and Wayne Bowmaster.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 4 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Major Sharon Cupp officiating.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 1 P.M. until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions in Kathryn’s name may be made to the VFW Auxiliary through the funeral home.
