A happy ending: Missing woman no longer missing

LAMAR — State police say an elderly Sullivan County woman, reported missing in the Lock Haven area this morning, is safely home.

Police had sent out a report this morning seeking the whereabouts of Anne Bailey Hackney, 83, from Eagles Mere. Her daughter had reported her missing and she had been observed earlier today in the Lock Haven area and authorities feared she was confused and would not know her way home.

She drove home, back to Eagles Mere, and notified everyone she was fine.
