Tentative contract accord reached for Keystone Central teachers

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP — therecord-online has learned a tentative contract agreement has been reached between the Keystone Central School District and its teachers union.

The tentative agreement with the Association of Clinton County Educators came at a bargaining session last Wednesday night, Oct. 26. The union membership has been notified by its leadership that the tentative settlement will be recommended to the membership at a ratification meeting scheduled for Dec 1 at 4:30 p.m. at the Central Mountain High School auditorium. The membership was told details of the agreement will be shared at that time.

ACCE teachers have been working under the terms of the old contract this school year; the old pact expired June 30. There are some 90 teachers eligible to vote on the proposed new pact.
