Vehicle Crosses Intersection, Enters Side of Home

LOCK HAVEN – Lock Haven city police and the Lock Haven Fire Department responded to an early morning call on Susquehanna Avenue today – for a vehicle that crashed into the side of a home.

Witnesses to the accident, which occurred about 6:30 a.m. Monday, said an individual man was inside the vehicle at the time of the accident. The preliminary report said the car came down the Hill Street hill and continued across Susquehanna Avenue into the home occupied by William Stoner who was not hurt.

The driver was taken to the Lock Haven Hospital for evaluation, following the accident, according to reports.

Flaggers controlled one-lane traffic on Susquehanna Avenue until about 8:45 a.m., when the vehicle was safely pulled from the home and the street was again opened to normal traffic.
