CM Girls’ Tennis Notches another Shutout against Mifflinburg

cm-tennisMIFFLINBURG – Another match, another clean sweep win for the the Lady Wildcats. This time a 5-0 shutout win over Mifflinburg.

Central Mountain (10-0) accomplished the task in dominant fashion with all entrants claiming victory in straight sets.

In the battle of No. 1s, CM’s Jolee McCluskey defeated Mifflinburg’s Colette Southerton 6-3, 6-2. Then Quinn McCluskey beat Melanie Rakerd 6-0, 6-2 and at No. 3, Katherine Strouse topped Allison Wagner 6-2, 6-2 to record the first three wins for Central Mountain.

In doubles action, Lady ‘Cats No 1 team of Keli Kwiatek and Kendall McCluskey made quick work of Mifflinburg’s Abby Undersell and Sam Irvin 6-0, 6-1. Then the CM No. 2 doubles pair of Becky Piergallini and Natalie Brown took care of the host’s Tiffany Feese and Amber Leitzel 6-0, 6-3.

The Lady Wildcats will next host District 6 foe, Mifflin County on Friday, Sept. 23, 2016.
