State Police Say No Injuries in Recent West Renovo Crash

NOYES TOWNSHIP — State police today released details on a one-vehicle crash that brought firemen to West Renovo last Wednesday afternoon.

Police said Christian Spahr of Renovo was traveling on Route 144/Ridge Road in Noyes Township and lost control of his vehicle when his dog ran across his lap. The vehicle struck a culvert ditch and turned onto the passenger side, then catching on fire.

Police said contrary to published reports elsewhere, the driver never left the scene of the collision; they said Spahr would be cited for summary traffic offenses.
