KCSD Superintendent Issues Clarification Statement

kcsd-logoBALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – To prevent parent concern and the spread of misinformation, the Keystone Central School District Superintendent, Kelly Hastings, has issued the following statement to address an incident that occurred today, Sept. 1, 2016: “A Central Mountain High School student reported seeing what appeared to be a weapon in a student’s backpack. This was immediately reported to the administration.

Upon investigation it was determined that the item was an empty airsoft replica handgun.

There were no threats made to any students or staff. All students are safe and the building is secure.

As always, the safety of our students is our main priority.”
