Lady Wildcat Tennis Remains Undefeated with 5-0 Shutout over Mifflinburg

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Central Mountain (3-0) kept up the pressure in Heartland Conference action by shutting out Mifflinburg (0-4) 5-0 for a perfect day for the Lady Wildcat girls’ tennis program.

Jolie McCluskey (6-1, 6-1), Quin McCluskey (6-0, 6-1) and Katherine Strouse (6-2, 6-1) all prevailed in straight sets over their Mifflinburg counterparts in singles action.

Not to be outdone, Kendall McCluskey and Becky Piergallini (6-0, 6-0) along with Natalie Brown and Cierra Merrill (6-1, 6-0) also won in straight sets for the near perfect team effort.

Next up, Cm will travel to rival Jersey Shore on Wednesday, Aug. 31.
