Woolrich falls to Williamsport Area 10-0
WOOLRICH – The Woolrich Little League All-Stars opened District 12 play by hosting Williamsport Area Wednesday night.
Williamsport jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the first inning, then tacked on 5 more in the second and added a bonus run in the third to earn a 10-0 four-inning win.
The Woolies struggled in the batter’s box only reaching first base on two walks earning a no-hitter for the boys from Billtown.
On the mound, Brayden Confair recorded four strikeouts and gave up 10 hits and four walks on the night.
Next up, Woolrich will travel to Loyalsock to face Newberry, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 6 p.m.
