Eaton Out as LHU Women’s Soccer Coach

lhu-soccerLOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven University is in the market for a new coach of the women’s soccer program. Therecord-online has learned that coach Rob Eaton is no longer in that position; he was informed of the change last week.

While the university has made no formal announcement, LHU sports information director Doug Spatafore today issued a confirmation: “I can confirm we will be opening a national search for a new head women’s soccer coach immediately and that coach Rob Eaton is no longer the head coach, and will not return next season.”

Prior to returning to Lock Haven, Eaton spent four seasons as the head women’s coach at Clarion University, where he rebuilt the Golden Eagle program. Following his first season with Clarion in 2010, he was named the PSAC Women’s Coach of the Year.
