County Oath Ceremony Set

LOCK HAVEN – Clinton County today announced details for administering the oath of office for those county residents who were successful in the Nov. 3 municipal election.

Voter registrar Maria Boileau said the swearing-in ceremony for the candidates who won elected positions will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the large courtroom of the county courthouse.

She said any municipal official that desires to take his or her oath of office on that date should contact the Office of the Court Administrator (570-893-4016) prior to December 20, 2015. This will permit court officials to have the oath of office properly prepared.
