Porter, Reeder, Garbrick and Corl Sign Letters of Intent

cm-baseballBALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Four Central Mountain senior baseball players who began their careers on the diamond at an early age with Keystone Little League have honed their skills to the point where they have earned the attention of college scouts to continue their playing days past their careers as Wildcats.

Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015 was the first official day to sign letters of intent to attend the schools of their choice and Isaac Porter, Alex Garbrick, Cole Reeder and Toner Corl made their decisions official for their college selections.

Porter who has been a solid anchor behind the plate as a catcher will attend St. Bonaventure University and will continue at that position. Porter is the son of Pamela and Michael Porter and will seek a pre-med course of studies while attending college.

Reeder will take his picking skills to Mount St. Mary’s University where he hopes to contribute on the mound for the Mount as he pursues a degree in sports journalism. Reeder is the son of Jodi and Randy Reeder.

Alex Garbrick will further his baseball career with Morehead State University in Kentucky. Garbrick has not declared a major yet but has interest in the pre-pharmacy line of study. Garbrick is the son of Tina and Bill Garbrick.

Toner Corl who has been a consummate utility player who is comfortable contributing anywhere on the field will attend Lock Haven University and extend his playing days for the Bald Eagles. Corl will pursue a degree in business management and is the son of Crystal and Jim Corl.
