by Jim Morgan

bucks-footballFARWELL – It was a long drawn out game which lasted for 3 hours as Canton (2-4) outscored the Bucks (2-4) 60-35 for the win.

Josh Knauff was a big target down field for Mike Casper as he had over 130 yards and 2 touchdown on the night. Knauff had his third touchdown called back on a illegal block during his catch and run. Casper did a fine job behind center and was throwing the ball well.

Casper also had a big moment on a third down play as he called his own number and ran right up the middle for a 54 yard touchdown. Canton defense had all eleven men in the box.

Keifer Mason caught a touchdown pass from four yards out. The Bucks offensive line tonight was giving Casper the time to look down field. Brice Cannon had a 1 yard touchdown run for the final score of the Bucks.

The game was just prolonged with penalties between the two teams, there were over three hundred penalty yards accumulated by the two teams. Both teams had to take a big breathe of fresh air this evening as that had to be the first game that both teams survived without any major injuries.

The Bucks will travel to CMVT next Satuday afternoon for a 1 p.m. kick-off.
