KCSD Technology Director Removed from Office

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP — Scott Owens, Career and Technology Director for the Keystone Central School District, is no longer acting in that capacity and no one in the district is commenting as to why not at this point.

Therecord-online has learned that Owens was escorted from his office on Tuesday, the office locked up. Efforts to find out the circumstances of his removal have so far been without success. Interim school board president Butch Knauff declined to comment.

The school board has its next regular meeting scheduled for Thursday night at Bucktail High School at Farwell. There were indications more information may be available at that time.

Owens, 52, resides in Sugar Valley.
