Lady ‘Cats Sweep Shamokin 3-0

cm-volleyballBALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Central Mountain volleyball squad took care of business in short order defeating the visiting Lady Braves of Shamokin 3-0 in Heartland Conference competition.

The Lady ‘Cats jumped out in front with 25-14 win in game one followed by wins of 25-17 and 25-14, respectively in games 2 and three.

Head coach, Megan Coleman took advantage of the opportunity to get her entire varsity roster on the floor throughout the night, garnering some valuable game time competition for the underclassmen.

The Lady Wildcats also too out some time in pregame ceremonies to bring attention to the need for organ donors an honor some local donors and their recipients who have successfully survived their afflictions due to the selfless gift of life from others.
