Shirley A. Getgen – Obituary

Shirley A. Getgen, 69, of 1011 Central Avenue, Renovo died Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Jersey Shore Manor Care Nursing Home.
She was born July 31, 1946 in Pottstown, the daughter of the late S. Harvey and Edna Treaster Ballantine.
Shirley had worked for the Silk Mill, Chair Factory, and Island Poultry before they closed.

She also worked for the Lock Haven American Legion, and the Eagle Hotel as well as numerous families in the area doing house cleaning. 
She is survived by her companion and best friend of 34 ½ years, David C. Chancel of Renovo; and a grandson, Kyle Saiers of Turbotville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, John M. Boyle and George Ballantine.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
